Kabuki

I went to see Kabuki the other day. Kabuki is a traditional stage drama exclusively performed by men.

In this time, the performances were for announcement of 3 generations of famous Kabuki actor's family’s succession to his predecessor’s name.

Even though I am a Japanese, I can't catch what they say without earphone guide, because their language on the stage is classical Japanese. There are English version of earphone guide for foreigners.

To see Kabuki is a good opportunity to know a part of Japanese culture. 

There is a famous Wagashi cafe next to Kabukiza. Enjoyed good tea and tasty sweets after the Kabuki show.
